Hello and help please !
I'm going to visit hotel Funtana in Vrsar this holidays. Please help me. I don't know what is in a room in this hotel. Is there a fridge (ice-box) or minibar.
What more can you say about this hotel ? Is it fine ? Please give me a answer only in English, I don't speak Germany at all !!!
Thanks !

I want to ask persons who have been in this hotel. (My English is very poor too). Sometimes hotel doesn't write everything.

Hello i have been in this hotel in 2004. It was renovated a few years ago and i think its a good hotel. It is near seafront and on a small hill so you have a wonderfull sight over small islands. Theres a stonebeach which is very beautiful. Be shure to get a room on the top floor to have an undisturbed view to the sea. The rooms are not very big but they are fine. There was no fridge-box in the rooms, but as i remember you can rent one in the hotel for a few euros.

Sorry for the bad english, but if you have anymore questions be shure to ask

friendly greetings Malin

Wow, very very thanks. Your English is better than mine.
What is your opinion about eating in this hotel ?
Where did you go for excursions ? Plitvice, Rovinj,Pula what more. What is your opinion about this small part of the beach for children ?

Hallo Potter,

i think the eating is good. Its not like in a 5 Star Resort but it fits very well. There is something for everyone. Breakfast is Continental and english(ham, eggs, sausagesetc) and other things. Dinner is good, but not as good as in the Restaurants in Funtana(and there are about 40 Restaurants and Bars in this nice Village). I can recommend this hotel very well, because of the beautifull land and seascape arround. THe hotel is clean and the staff is honest. You dont have to worry. Like i said the beach is stony, and there are rocks so you should take watershoes with you(you can also buy them near the hotel). There are ladders to go in the water and there are areas for the kids to(how to say kiesel in english? very small roundshaped stones) there should be no problem with kids to go in the water. If you go there drink a cold Pivo(Karlovacko- theres a supermarket at the entrance to the hotel) for me and watch the sunset at this very beautifull beach- its amazing).

Plitvice lakes are a bit to far from Istria to make it in one day i think. You should go to Porec(6 km), Vrsar(about 4 km), Rovinj Pula with the oldtown and the amphitheatre, you coul make a boattrip(boats go directly from the hotel), if you like seafood go to the Limskifjord(car, boat), also the old towns in the countryside of Istria are very beautiful like Motovun and Groznjan

To go to Vrsar, Porec, Rovinj or Pula you could take the bus wich is cheap and comfortable- it goes from the mainstreet of funtana(for some directions its better to go from Porec busport, but look wen you are there for yourselve.

nice greetings from Malin

Thanks a lot. My comp was destroyed last two days so I read your message today.
One more question: I read it is possible to lend out a water bicycle (i don't know a good word) or a boat ? Is it expensive ?
